This JSR will provide a new and improved date and time API for Java. The main goal is to build upon the lessons learned from the first two APIs (Date and Calendar) in Java SE, providing a more advanced and comprehensive model for date and time manipulation. (JSR-310)
In this talk it’s all about JSR-310, the new Date & Time API of Java 8. I’ll explain the usage of this new API and show you in a live coding session how easy this API can be used.
To fully understand this talk the attendees should have basic knowledge of Java.
